My daughter is such a pleasure to be around (most of the time--she is now going through the throes of adolescence!)> Most days our life is so quiet and relaxed. I appreciate having talks with her, also I like it when she has friends over and it's really special everytime, maybe because she has no siblings and she appreciates the presence of her friends even more! And then she is also happy when they are gone and she has time to herself. I would not change my family for the world! I feel like this too.
